Fire Danger for Wednesday April 18, 2012

The fire danger for Sullivan country today is:
CLASS 4: VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER

Today will be mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Relative humidity will be between 16 and 18 percent inland and near 32 percent on the seacoast. Winds will range from 4 to 6 mph inland and near 11 mph on the seacoast.

Although Red Flag conditions are unlikely today, the combination of very dry fuels and low humidity will keep the fire danger elevated.

Tomorrow will be slightly warmer with only slightly higher humidity values. Winds should remain light. Chances of rain and unsettled weather increase over the region as a frontal system becomes stationary over the region
