The fire danger for Sullivan county today is:
CLASS 4: VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER

Today will be partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with temperatures in the 70s. Relative humidity will be between 21 and 33 percent. Winds will range from 7 to 12 mph with gusts between 17 and 23 mph.

Although conditions today will not reach red flag criteria, the fire danger will remain elevated.

There is a good chance for showers Saturday night into Sunday, then steadier rain Sunday night and Monday. The rain is forecasted to taper off Monday night into Tuesday.

CLASS 4: VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER


Today will be mostly clear skies with temperatures in the mid-60s to low-70s. Relative humidity will be between 18 and 20 percent inland and near 34 percent on the seacoast. Winds will range from 5 to 8 mph inland and near 12 mph on the seacoast.


Humidity values will increase tomorrow as unsettled weather moves into the region. Tomorrow night will be the earliest chance of precipitation, with showers more likely on Saturday

The fire danger for Sullivan country today is:
CLASS 4: VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER

Today will be mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Relative humidity will be between 16 and 18 percent inland and near 32 percent on the seacoast. Winds will range from 4 to 6 mph inland and near 11 mph on the seacoast.

Although Red Flag conditions are unlikely today, the combination of very dry fuels and low humidity will keep the fire danger elevated.

Tomorrow will be slightly warmer with only slightly higher humidity values. Winds should remain light. Chances of rain and unsettled weather increase over the region as a frontal system becomes stationary over the region

The fire danger for Sullivan county today is:
CLASS 4: HIGH FIRE DANGER
Today will be partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with temperatures in the upper 60s to upper 70s.  Relative humidity will be between 14 and 20 percent.  Winds will be out of the west or northwest at 12 to 15 mph with gusts between 20 and 29 mph.

Low humidity values and somewhat cooler temperatures are expected tomorrow, but winds will diminish considerably.  Dry condisitons will persist through Friday with the possibility of some precipitation this weekend.

The fire danger for Sullivan county today is:
CLASS 4: HIGH FIRE DANGER
Today will be partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with temperatures in the 80s and low 90s. Relative humidity will be between 24 and 37 percent.  Winds will range from 8 to 11 mph with possible gusts between 19 and 22 mph.

The combinations of very warm, dry, windy conditions and very low fuel mostures will keep the fire danger elevated today.  Although weather conditions for most of the State fall just short fo Red Flag Conditions, firefighters should be aware of potentially dangerous fire behavior.  All outside burning should be avoided.

Tomorrow will be somewhat cooler, but humidity levels will be lower and wind gusts slightly stronger.
